Proposal: Transfer of 33% of Polygon Treasury or 15000$ for the Development and Upkeep of Ricochet Lite Application
Introduction:
The Ricochet Lite web-app was developed by Nitegeist and Sero, and it is a multi-chain application that has a higher performance rate and is capable of supporting more users compared to Rex-Pro. However, the lack of philosophical and work alignment between the web app developers and smart contract developer is causing unnecessary issues that are holding up progress on the development efforts. Therefore, this proposal suggests transferring 33% of the Polygon treasury funds to Nitegeist and Sero to continue the upkeep and development of Ricochet Lite Web-App.
Purpose:
The purpose of this proposal is to separate concerns and allow for Rex-Lite to continue to thrive with its experienced developers. The proposal will transfer 33% of the Polygon treasury funds to Sero and Nitegeist to maintain and build upon Rex-Lite for the next year. The status of the app and progress in development will be reported monthly for 12 months.
Benefits:
The separation of teams and allowing them to focus on their specialized interests will cut arguments, wasted time, and software issues, and allow developers to innovate. This proposal will keep the original developers of the app working on it and maintaining it. This will ensure that the development and upkeep of the application will be consistent and reliable.
Failure:
If this proposal fails, Sero and Nitegeist, the original developers of Rex-Lite, and maintainers of Rex-Pro will no longer be participating in the development and maintenance of Ricochet exchange. This will leave Ricochet exchange with no frontend team.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, this proposal is aimed at ensuring the continued development and upkeep of Ricochet Lite Web-App. By transferring 33% of the Polygon treasury funds to Sero and Nitegeist, the original developers of the app, we can separate concerns, cut arguments, and allow developers to innovate. This proposal will keep the experienced developers working on the application, ensuring that it is consistent and reliable.
