Ricochet Keepers Funding

This is a proposal to stream $500/month in RIC to DAO approved Ricochet Keepers.

Keepers Spending is High

Currently, keepers call the distribute method without earning anything. They spend ~66 MATIC per week on gas to keep Ricochet Exchange running.

Short Term Keeper Sustainability

This proposal will incentivize keepers until we can update the Stream Exchange contracts to send the keepers a small fee. The keepers are an important part of providing a high-quality and reliable service. They deserve the $500/month in RIC compensation.

Approved Keepers

Keeper approvals will be handled by the Ricochet DAO Treasury signers because they have the ability to open/close RIC streams.

Keeper Compensation Plan

Keepers will earn $500/month in RIC streamed to them after they’ve operated their keeper for at least 1 week. After a week of operation keepers may contact the core team to request a stream.

Voting

This vote is a yes/no vote. If the vote is yes then the Ricochet DAO signers will be authorized to stream to approved keepers. If the vote is no then no action will be taken.
