Optimism Grant Budgeting

Proposal

Recently we received a grant from Superfluid to launch our dApp and contracts on Optimism. This proposal will be for budgeting the funds over the next 3 months.

The current funds are 12k OP tokens: these funds must be used to launch our dApp on Optimism. There are multiple updates that need to be made and funds will be allocated as follows:

Backend: 6000 OP tokens over 3 months

Mike will be receiving 2000 OP tokens over 3 months for:

1. updating and improving the contracts
2. deploying contracts
3. managing the maintenance, improvements and debugging of all OP contracts
4. overseeing overall architecture of Ricochet Protocol

Frontend: 4500 OP tokens over 3 months

Sero and Nitegeist will be receiving 1500 OP tokens over 3 months for:

1. Integrating contracts for Optimism in UI
2. Replacing current wallet and network infrastructure with Wagmi and Connectkit to provide a better UX
3. Redesign and update pages of the site to improve UX
4. Adding all new configurations necessary for OP deployment
5. Maintaining, debugging, and improving the application for the following 3 months

Media and Community: 1500 OP tokens over 3 months for:

Akuma (Chris) will be receiving 500 OP tokens a month for 3 months to:

1. Handle the creation of media to keep community in loop
2. Schedule calls, community events, and posts
3. Manage and maintain Social Media
4. Organize and build up hype for community

Why?

Becoming available cross chain is part of the Ricochet Protocol roadmap, now that funding has been secured we need to begin setting and following through with tasks.

The people recommend in this proposal have been working with Ricochet Exchange for a considerable amount of time and know the protocol and are able to handle the work.
