Protocol Development and Funding (RPIP-37)

RPIP-37 determines the process around core protocol development and funding.

Outcome if vote passes

• RPIP-37 will set the framework for protocol development and funding.
• Protocol development funding set to 5% of RPL inflation (currently 3.33%).
• pDAO budget expense of 49,420.55 RPL will be executed to cover protocol development from 2023-10-26 until 2024-10-24.

Rationale

To ensure the long-term sustainability and continued innovation of the Rocket Pool protocol, this RPIP lays out the high-level roles, responsibilities, processes, and funding for core protocol development.

The RPIP will continuously evolve as the development process evolves through community feedback.
