We are excited to present our formal proposal for enhancing and expanding the capabilities of the Roko Network. Our comprehensive plan aims to elevate the network's infrastructure by integrating network components and best practices, ensuring sustainable growth and value accrual for the $ROKO token and its holders. This proposal, crafted by the tokenomics experts at Exa Group, details our approach, deliverables, and financial structure to achieve Roko Network’s objectives.

Proposal

1. Project Overview Exa Group aims to provide extensive support to Roko Network in critical areas such as product strategy, token flow design, governance system architecture, and treasury management. Their team of experts will ensure that the network’s infrastructure is optimized for performance, security, and scalability, aligning with the strategic objectives of the DAO.

2. Methodology

• Stage 1: Business Audit

  • Conduct comprehensive readings and research on Roko Network.
  • Evaluate the opportunity/cost and specifications of the Roko Ledger, comparing Orbit L3 and Optimism L2 fork.
  • Identify main products, stakeholders, and their interests.
  • Create visual representations of revenue flow.
  • Review financials with a focus on treasury and assess the net value of token models.
  • Timeline: Up to 2 weeks
  • Deliverable: Business audit report with visualizations.

• Stage 2: Product and Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy

  • Research and evaluate strategic architectural components for each Roko product.
  • Understand current pain points, unique selling propositions (USPs), and market penetration approaches.
  • Define target customers and run competitor analysis to abstract at least one USP for GTM.
  • Identify target communities, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and create a customer acquisition funnel.
  • Identify key partners to support the product launch.
  • Timeline: Up to 3 weeks
  • Deliverable: GTM strategy document.

• Stage 3: Token Flow Design

  • Craft a sustainable token flow that balances supply and demand.
  • Create visual representations of token flows within the ecosystem and product line.
  • Explain sinks, injections, and token value accrual mechanisms.
  • Visualize the emission schedule and create a token liquidity profile.
  • Timeline: Up to 4 weeks
  • Deliverable: Token flow design document with visualizations.

• Stage 4: Governance System Architecture

  • Define best practices for code and treasury governance.
  • Describe the architecture of the governance system and outline responsibilities of token holders.
  • Assess toolings and define DAO values, weight, and voting strategy.
  • Explore multi-token design for governance and recommend toolings.
  • Timeline: Up to 2 weeks
  • Deliverable: Governance system architecture document.

• Stage 5: Treasury Management

  • Analyze the current portfolio health and define hedging strategies for the Roko treasury.
  • Create case scenarios for liquidity management and establish investment principles.
  • Plot working capital and cash flow management strategies.
  • Evaluate various financial strategies to ensure stability and optimize returns.
  • Timeline: Up to 2 weeks
  • Deliverable: Treasury management strategy document.

• Structure Grants Program

  • Devise types of grants, amounts, decentralization scores, and objectives.
  • Outline an end-to-end application process for the community and an application review process for internal use.
  • Recommend toolings for operations and day-to-day management of the program.
  • Visualize the grants process flow via infographic and a 30-second video.
  • Timeline: Up to 2 weeks
  • Deliverable: Grants program structure document, infographic, and video.

3. Financial Structure We offer two pricing options to accommodate different financial strategies:

Option 1: Fixed Fee with Token Allocation

• Total Cost: 45,000 USDC and $10,000 in Native Token
• Payment Schedule:
  • 40% upfront payment upon acceptance of the proposal.
  • 30% upon completion of Stage 3.
  • 30% upon completion of Stage 5.

Option 2: Fixed Fee without Token Allocation

• Total Cost:**60,000 USDC
• Payment Schedule:
  • 40% upfront payment upon acceptance of the proposal.
  • 30% upon completion of Stage 3.
  • 30% upon completion of Stage 5.

Timeline for completion of deliverables: 14 Weeks

The USDC will be acquired through the swapping of existing staked TAO assets living on Bittensor which will first be bridged to Ethereum to wTAO and swapped to USDC to cover the total USDC needed to satisfy the proposal depending upon which payment option the DAO chooses to approve.
