Funding of 1000 FRAX, for small ROME battle minigame

Voting ended over 3 years agoFailed

Me and three other developers are interested in contributing to this project by creating a small mini-game in which ROME holders can battle head to head in an RPG style game. The reason I believe this would be successful, is because the winner of these battles would take the pot of ROME the two contestants put up, essentially creating an atmosphere where ROME holders can wager versus each other. The creation of competition among players and the opportunity to make money would create a competitive atmosphere among players, leading more people to purchase ROME and join these competitions. Here is how the game would consist:

  1. 3 – 5 simple but fun maps would be created where players could battle one another.
  2. 1 – 3 classes of characters would be created, which partakers will choose before the battle begins. These character classes are essential because they would be a creator of strategy among contenders, in which each player would have to carefully pick their characters to win the game.
  3. The game itself will consist of a hot bar in which players can select their character they would like to put down and place it on the map where he/she pleases. The person with the last character standing will be the winner of the competition.
  4. A detailed explanation of game mechanics:
  5. both players start with one character dropped on a random place on the map.
  6. Each player with his/her inventory of characters can then place down more characters to fight off the others troops.
  7. To incentivize the game to be played in a more timely manner, there will be random drops on the map which give each player an extra troop, and every 10 seconds a player will lose a troop if they do not place down one in that 10 second span. There will also be a slight load time when a troop is placed, giving the advantage to whoever places troops first, yet this can be counteracted by obstacles in the map which can protect opponents troops momentarily.
