Expanding $Rug to $RDAO Conversion Access to the Wider Rug Radio Ecosystem

Introduction: This proposal aims to address the issue of limited access to the $Rug to $RDAO conversion process, which currently excludes certain Rug Radio community members who cannot afford the higher-priced Genesis Rug NFTs. By expanding conversion access to holders of Membership Passes and Cory Van Lew Faces of Web 3 PFP NFTs, we hope to foster a more inclusive and diverse community in the Rug Radio DAO.

Background: Rug Radio has been making significant strides in its innovative web 3 rewards program, including participate-to-earn and learn-to-earn initiatives. As a result, the ecosystem is attracting an increasing number of participants. However, many newcomers are unable to afford the Genesis Rug NFTs (approximately $350 USD) required for converting $Rug tokens to $RDAO governance tokens.

Proposal Details: The proposal suggests granting Rug Radio Membership Pass holders (approximately $35 USD) and Cory Van Lew Faces of Web 3 PFP NFT holders (approximately $85 USD) the ability to convert their $Rug tokens to $RDAO governance tokens. This would reduce financial barriers and make the conversion process more accessible to a broader range of participants.

Problem: The current system restricts $Rug to $RDAO conversion to Genesis Rug NFT holders, limiting Rug Radio DAO participation to those who can afford these more expensive NFTs.

Solution: Enable Cory Van Lew Faces of Web 3 PFP and Rug Radio Membership Pass holders to use the Syndicate/Rug Radio token claim and conversion dashboard to convert $Rug tokens to $RDAO governance tokens.

Benefits: A more diverse and inclusive Rug Radio DAO community with a larger pool of passionate voices contributing ideas and proposals. Greater representation from various cultures, languages, regions, financial capabilities, and generations. A more equitable platform for participants in Rug Radio rewards programs who cannot afford Genesis Rug NFTs, including Rug Radio hosts and individuals earning tokens through third-party apps, web services, partnership organizations, and giveaways.

Financial Implications: No additional funds will be required from the Rug Radio DAO Treasury, as the necessary infrastructure is already in place. Syndicate will provide code adjustments if the proposal is approved by the Rug Radio DAO
