Voting Governance Amendment aka Quorum Proposal
Over the past few weeks, Tanja Nicole has worked closely with the RDAO community to formulate a proposal that would provide the community with appropriate Quorum levels in order to provide access to DAO funding and support while protecting the DAOs assets.
This proposal was carefully considered and provides a lowered Quorum threshold without compromising the security of the DAO. By implementing dynamic voting, the curve of required votes for a proposal to pass, follows the sentiment of the community. Proposals with high levels of affirmative votes require less community input than those that receive scrutiny and negative votes.
This proposal allows for a reduction of quorum from a current (and unrealistic) 50% to a quorum potentially as low as 10%.
Note that proposals still need affirmative support in order to pass.
This proposal has gone through a commentary period and will remain open for 7 days. Questions and concerns about this proposal can be posed in the community Discord and can expect to receive feedback from those involved in the drafting, the DAO Council, Core Team, or any other RDAO holder who feels inclined to comment or explain.
It is the belief of the RDAO holders who are presenting this that lowered Quorum threshold is vital to the success of the DAO and will allow for proactive builders in the ecosystem to gain access to resources from the DAO and community to build upon the Rug Radio brand.
