Monthly Governooor Royale

Voting ended almost 4 years agoSucceeded

We are proposing a new monthly Governooor Royale to celebrate and reward participants in community governance. Here's how it will work:

Everyone is free to submit nominations to the #nominations channel throughout the month. Each nomination for the month will be a thread. Every time you feel someone has contributed significantly to governance discussion or investment proposals, feel free to go drop a link to their post or leave a comment in their thread to let everyone know why you appreciate the contributor! There will be one official vote emoji, and at the end of the month the top 5 contributors will get posted to an official governance vote, using a quadratic weighting system.

Along with the permanent role of 'Ultimate Governooor', there will be 3 levels of rewards: 1st: 3kRVRS 2nd: 1k RVRS 3rd: 500 RVRS

To kick off this event we are having a special "Founding Governooor Royale" where we will be selecting 5 winners from the top 10 nominees. These nominees are for all contributions to the project up until this point, essentially the founding contributors. The winners will receive the permanent role 'Founding Governooor' and the rewards will be:

1st: 5k RVRS 2nd: 4k RVRS 3rd: 3k RVRS 4th: 2k RVRS 5th: 1k RVRS

There will be a one-month cooldown and the role 'Reversed Governoor' assigned to the winners for the month that they are elected as top governors. After the next month, they will lose that title and again be eligible for nominations.

The RVRS for funding these rewards will come from the treasury.

Vote 'Yes' to approve this proposal. Vote 'No" to deny this proposal.
