Motivation
This proposal aims to enhance the gameplay experience by introducing the NG+ system, restructuring hero payments, and refining the SACRA token economy to create a more balanced and engaging environment for all players.
- New Game+ (NG+) System
NG_LVL is the difficulty level; for example, NG+1 corresponds to NG_LVL = 1.
- Monster difficulty no longer depends on the total supply of the SACRA token.
- After killing the last available boss, the hero has the opportunity to "rebirth" starting from level 1 on next NG level.
- Experience and allocated attribute points reset to 0. Life chances are not restored. HP/MP are restored.
- All monsters are strengthened by 100% × NG_LVL.
- The treasury reward is available in the last biome of the maximum NG+ level opened (the fact of opening is determined by the hero's transition, not by killing the boss).
- The hero who first opens a new difficulty level will forever enter the Hall of Fame and receive an additional reward from the developers.
- The reborn hero cannot play at other difficulty levels (downgrading is impossible).
- Items from different difficulty levels can be equipped and used as usual at any difficulty level.
- After killing the last boss at NG+1, the hero can proceed to NG+2, and so on, up to the maximum level of NG+99.
- We need to remember the highest difficulty level passed for the account and allow creating a new hero immediately at that level.
When creating a hero at a difficulty higher than NG+0, they are given a discount on the hero in the form of half of the missed profit. Missed profit is the rewards from the boss kill pool.
- New Hero Payment
- Each hero is now paid for in advance with a fixed amount in stablecoin.
- Leveling up is now free.
- Hero payment will have three tiers
Tier 1: Standard, no bonused
Tier 2: With a random skill for their class
Tier 3: With a random skill and a set of items
The tiers and their bonuses are currently under active discussion.
Payment for the hero is distributed into three categories:
Developers' commission (10%)
Additional boss rewards pool (80%)
Treasury for the last biome (10%)
Percentages may be adjusted in the future and are approximate.
The cost of tiers may vary on different blockchains and is currently under active discussion.
For now, we are aiming at $100 / $125 / $150 USD (considering that most of it will go back to the user as cashback).
If the update is activated on an old server where heroes with per-level payments exist, such old heroes must pay the full hero cost when transitioning to NG+.
Also, old heroes do not receive additional boss rewards from the reward pool (until they transition to the new NG level with full payment).
- Additional Reward Pool
- An additional reward will be paid for killing each boss (once per boss).
- The reward pool is replenished from purchased heroes.
- The size of the reward for each boss depends on the biome and difficulty level.
- Changes in the SACRA Token Economy
- At the end of each adventure, the player receives a reward in SACRA tokens, but its amount now depends not only on the biome and total token supply but also on the difficulty level.
- The SACRA token will be used for all in-game activities (repairing, forging, guilds) and will be the only currency for the marketplace (as it is now).
- Developers will be market makers for the SACRA token liquidity pool (as it is now), using tokens from hero payments to maintain a healthy price.
- All current commissions from repairs, forging, marketplace, etc., remain the same as now. The received tokens will be used for various marketing activities and additional rewards for users.
