Summary

As part of the expansion of GHO liquidity across Layer 2s and sidechains, TokenLogic proposes enabling a new Boosted 3pool gauge for the GHO/USDC/USDT pool on Avalanche. This follows similar successful deployments on Arbitrum and Base, and aims to establish Avalanche as a core network for GHO liquidity.

This Boosted 3pool will support deeper, more efficient liquidity for GHO in a regionally diverse and rapidly growing ecosystem. It will also be considered a “core pool” under BIP-19, meaning protocol fees earned by this pool will be recycled to bribe for votes on the gauge, ensuring long-term alignment between incentives and liquidity depth.

Motivation

After strong adoption of the Boosted 3pool model on Ethereum Mainnet, and following its replication on Arbitrum and Base, the next logical step is to deploy this structure on Avalanche, where Aave v3 is already active and where GHO is about to launch.

The goal is to replicate the same yield-bearing, capital-efficient design using interest-bearing tokens from Aave’s Avalanche deployment. All three assets are available on Aave v3 on Avalanche and will be integrated in their Aave-wrapped forms.

This pool will help anchor GHO liquidity on Avalanche and ensure it has deep routing paths across the ecosystem. In addition, it opens the door for further integrations with protocols building on Avalanche who need a reliable, decentralized stablecoin with composable yield infrastructure.
