Voting ended 2 months agoFailed

Preamble This proposal serves as a formal request for a half-yearly grant (“Grant Proposal”) from BlackPool DAO for the period of H1-2026 (January 1st to June 30th), in continuation and recognition of the governance framework set by previous BlackPool-related initiatives. The BlackPool Association (“Association”), based in Zug, Switzerland, remains a key entity within the BlackPool ecosystem. It supports the development and growth of BlackPool through the coordination of contributor teams and the execution of strategic initiatives aligned with the long-term vision of BlackPool DAO.

Grant Award Amount Requested: The Association hereby requests a grant of USDC 75,000 in total for the execution of its planned roadmap for H1-2026. The grant size is informed by prior financial reporting, the successful completion of 2025 objectives, and anticipated resource needs for the operational stability and growth phase of the protocol. Disbursement: The grant will be disbursed in six (6) monthly instalments of USDC [Insert Monthly Amount 12,500 USDC paid within seven (7) days following each month-end. Nature of Grant This grant is a voluntary allocation from the DAO treasury and does not constitute compensation for services, nor does it create enforceable deliverables, employment obligations, or a contractor relationship. Milestones represent planning objectives rather than contractual service requirements.

Milestones for H1-2026 Following the deployment and migration phases of late 2025, the focus for H1 2026 shifts toward optimization, growth, and utility. The requested amount will fund the following key milestones: M1: Platform Optimization & Maintenance: Continued maintenance of the recently deployed Front End (BPIP9), focusing on UX improvements, mobile responsiveness, and bug bounties. M2: Analytics & Dashboard Enhancements: Upgrading the BlackPool Dashboard with deeper analytics features and real-time reporting tools for community transparency. M3: Treasury & Operations Support: Support the operational processes related to treasury actions approved by BlackPool DAO, including administrative coordination, analytics, and preparation of governance-aligned execution plans. For clarity, the Association will not exercise discretionary control, custody, or independent management over DAO assets. All treasury-related actions remain subject to on-chain governance and multisig approval. M4: BPT Utility Expansion & Migration: Developing and implementing new ecosystem and governance utility mechanisms for the migrated BPT token, including participation incentives and non-financial engagement features. No element of this work establishes or implies financial return, profit rights, or investment-like characteristics for BPT. M5: Growth & Partnership Marketing: Shifting from general awareness to targeted user acquisition, including partnerships with other DeFi protocols and gaming ecosystems. M6: Treasury Sustainability: rigorous treasury process support, including monitoring, reporting, and efficiency measures designed to improve operational sustainability. For clarity, the Association does not perform investment management or yield-generating activities, and all treasury actions remain subject to DAO governance approval. M7: Regulatory Compliance: Ongoing legal monitoring and strengthening of the Association’s framework in Switzerland to ensure compliance with evolving crypto regulations.
