Summary

This proposal seeks to transfer ownership of Spectra's deployed contracts on HyperEVM from Perspective SAS to Spectra DAO. This marks the protocol’s formal expansion to HyperEVM, which is aligned with Spectra's expansion strategy.

Context & Motivation

Since early December 2024, Hyperliquid L1’s TVL has climbed from roughly $158 million to about $1.85 billion today, an 11× expansion in seven months. The chain now sits in the top tier of DeFi networks by asset base and is still compounding at >5 % week-over-week.

Daily protocol fees are currently about $2.1 million, while the 24-hour DEX spot volume sits roughly at ≈ $271 million, and perpetual-swap notational volume sits comfortably at $6.2 billion daily.

Deploying on Hyperliquid's HyperEVM allows Spectra to tap into the on-chain cash flows and open up integration vectors with Hyperliquid's native DeFi money legos.

Specification:

Perspective SAS proposes deploying Spectra’s core contracts on HyperEVM, replicating the configuration used on Ethereum Mainnet. This deployment will enable Spectra users to tokenize, trade, and fix interest rates for interest-bearing tokens within the Hyperliquid ecosystem.

Next Steps:

Perspective SAS will submit the vote on Snapshot, if there are no constructive objections.

If Spectra DAO members approve the proposal, Perspective SAS will proceed with deployment on HyperEVM and transfer contract ownership to the Spectra DAO wallet on HyperEVM.
