As SharedStake moves forward, we will need a strong community to grow the protocol. Like anything else, time is a commodity. We should reward active community members for their contributions to the protocol.
I propose a bounty program for non-technical community members who contribute the most within the SharedStake community on a biweekly basis. The bounty program would reward non-technical contributors with SGT in an amount proportional to their contributions.
Under this bounty program, we would distribute 50 SGT biweekly between two active (2) members who contribute the most to the community.
If it is later determined that 50 SGT biweekly is too little or too much, the amount can be amended through governance. I’m requesting approval from the DAO to earmark 1300 SGT on a yearly basis for this non-technical contributors bounty program.
These non-technical contributors will help SharedStake build our community of active users and attract new members to our community. Non-technical members can contribute through various ways:
Examples of Contributions: Active participation and help on Discord (Close to FT) Conceptual and Technical Support (FAQ, Discord) Seeking out/evaluating potential Partnerships (Reaching out to people, platforms, and/or organizations that could be a good fit for SharedStake) Organic promotion on social media (Twitter) Community sub-coordination Art creation (A number of memes, gifs and emojis produced/month)
SharedStake’s Sergeants, Advisors, and Early Users will make up a Core Working Group (CWG) that will coordinate with community members to run/manage the non-technical bounty program. This group will work together to identify outstanding contributors to nominate. The subsequent nominees will be included in a snapshot vote where the community can decide if SGT should be rewarded for contributions to the SharedStake community.
If this proposal passes, the CWG can nominate current members for the first biweekly SGT rewards.
