TOUCAN VOTE: Should mandatory two-factor authentication by phone be enabled on the Shell Discord?

Voting ended over 3 years agoSucceeded

This is a vote to determine if mandatory two-factor authentication by phone number should be required for Discord accounts accessing the Shell Protocol Discord server. This is an optional security feature provided by Discord and does not require outside bots or tools. If the feature is activated, user phone numbers will be handled by Discord and will not be shared with the Shell team.

The argument for this policy is that it will reduce the presence and activity of spam and bot accounts on the server. The argument against this policy is that it may make it less convenient for users to interact with Shell Protocol if they do not have a phone linked to their Discord account with 2FA.

This is a YES/NO vote with a weighting of one vote per toucan.
