What to spend if we can mint the other side plot

We've had quite some conversation about what to spend on trying to mint the otherside plot later today. Here are the key points to consider...

• Only half of the land is being sold tonight. It's going to BAYC, MAYC holders and the people who KYC'd a month ago when nobody knew what they were signing up for (which is why most people aren't approved for it).

• The second half of the land will most likely be sold in around a months time. There are very strong rumours that the second half of the land will be whitelisted to holders of the NFT's in the trailer video (WoW, Toadz, Meebits, 10KTF, Cool Cats & Cryptopunks). If that is confirmed to be true, ShibVinci should be whitelisted for at least 3 spots.

• For tonights mint, we have managed to negotiate a 2-3 slots for Wave 2 from a person we know who did do KYC. That individual is using Wave 1 for himself, but of the 4 slots available for Wave 2, they have agreed to put 2-3 aside for ShibVinci.

• The challenge is that we don't know how many will still be available when it gets to Wave 2. It's likely to be less than 10,000 pieces of land left available and with a max of 4 per transaction, this is just 2500 transactions from a total of 40,000+ eligible wallets.

• This means a HEAVY gas war will take place. Some people on Twitter have already said they're willing to spend 1eth on gas at Wave 2 for 4 more pieces of land.

• If you narrowly miss the mint in Wave 2, the gas you throw at it will be lost, so its a significant gamble.

If we were to MAX out…

We could attempt to get 3 plots and have around 1.75eth for GAS But that would clear all the funds AND it would use the ETH that should be going to the profit share.

If successful we’d have 3 plots. The other option is to keep the 1eth as intended for the profit sharing next week, buy 2 plots and keep the gas high and save back some ETH for back for something like a cryptoadz.

whatever we vote for the GAS to be, IF we aren't successful we basically LOSE THE GAS BID. We won't lose the ape but the GAS goes. So when voting keep that in mind. The amount of GAS we vote to try will be the amount we RISK LOSING if it isn't successful.

If the mints don't make it to wave 2 or we aren't successful in our bid, we always get to try again for the next leg of other side mints in a few weeks.
