More Shroomiez to the Brown Hole

Voting ended over 1 year agoSucceeded

In March we sent 13 Shroomiez NFTs (2% of supply) to Bera Plug’s Brown Hole, in exchange for 0.33% of the $plug supply distributed to Shroomiez holders. See the previous proposal: https://snapshot.org/#/shroomieznfts.eth/proposal/0x220263ec19e938890a466243b487d4323290de52e820d57271ccb620f7565521

With the price of $plug increasing exponentially since then, reaching a $9.39M market cap/FDV at it’s peak and now comfortably sitting at $5.7M; having delivered to each Shroomiez holders more than $150 per Shroomiez held, the Brown Hole has ultimately demonstrated it's ability to be a really effective distribution method for communities who wish to put their assets into really strong hands.

And with only 1 out of the 13 Shroomiez distributed via the Brown Hole sold, we believe we should mint another 13 Shroomiez and send them to the Brown Hole to:

  1. Bring more Web3 Chads to vote on our Educational Platform by increasing Shroomiez holders by almost 10%. Considering that Brown Hole winners are mostly DeFi/NFT chads (given the nature of the Brown Hole distribution equation), this ensure these Shroomiez will go into the hands of some real Chads.

  2. Benefit from Beraplug’s eccentric, widespread and ever-growing community. Beraplug is undeniably in a really favourable position to become Berachain’s N.1 memecoin, and if not N.1 then it will still have gained immense benefits from its first mover advantage as the first live Berachain community coin powered by novel 3,3 DeFi mechanics.

If the proposal is approved, 13 Shroomiez will be minted from currently unminted ones and sent to the $PLUG treasury.
