Roadmap & Utility

The team has been networking and strategizing to bring our holders some roadmap options to rank and consider. We want to know which of these following options you think should be the primary focus. Note that this vote is using a weighted voting mechanism. As such, each voter may spread voting power across any number of choices.

1 - Real world events for holders The team has been speaking with contacts in several cities about partnering on real world events for holders. Some of these events would be exclusive to shroomz holders and some of them would allow free entry and other perks for shroomz holders, but would also allow entry to non-holders. Some of the initial ideas have been specific nights at clubs, concerts, and open bar networking events.

2 - Getting shroomz and acidheadz into a metaverse Fun utility by adding shroomz and acidheadz into an existing metaverse. Details have yet to be fine tuned, but in our initial talks with some contacts, the fact that our NFTs are already rigged 3D models is very appealing. We discussed some fun ideas such as having shroomz/acidheadz exist in a metaverse and anytime music played they start dancing!

3 - Shroomz/Achidheadz as tickets to whitelists We are in the unique position to have shroomz and acidheadz holdings act as a ticket to whitelisting for other drops. The company who staffed the artists and musicians for shroomz and acideheadz works with several other teams to do the same. We can leverage these contacts to offer additional utility for shroomz/acidheadz holders. This option would be the most immediate, and in our estimation, would offer the greatest near term benefit.

4 - New NFT drop NOT ON ETH!!! As we are all well aware, Ethereum is an expensive place for NFTs to exist. To combat this, we could develop a new drop on a different cheaper, faster chain using our roster of artists, musicians, and devs. The DAO would decide many aspects of how this drop would look, sound, and function. This would be an NFT developed almost entirely by YOU, our holders.

5 - Pursue the purchase and build of virtual event space in metaverse Locate plot and build virtual event space in a metaverse such as SandBox or Decentraland. Host DJ sets, bands, performers, speakers, etc. Would require shroomz or acidheadz to enter.

6 - Strategically wait to deploy team funds until overall NFT market picks up The current NFT market is not the red hot “up only” arena that it was a few short months ago. Year end tax loss harvesting is right around the corner and the overall crypto market has been prone to wild swings the last few weeks. Sometimes the best course of action is a “wait and see” approach.

7 - Staking This option has been requested by the community, but is not something we think is prudent at this time. However, this team is fully supportive of a TRUE DAO and will work with the DAO and shroominati to do this if an overwhelming majority decides this is the way to go. It is important to understand exactly what we will be getting into here.

First, a majority of the team is domiciled in countries with strict laws regarding crypto as securities. NFTs are fantastic to work with because there is very little risk of non-fungible digital collectibles being considered securities. This changes when producing more traditional tokens. If the DAO decides on a token, this team cannot be associated with its production. We will turn over funds to the DAO to cover development costs, but will not provide any further support.

Further, we believe that a staking system at this time is very likely to fail, while being a large drain on resources. Current ETH fees make staking, harvesting, and selling prohibitively expensive (likely in the $500-700 range for a full cycle). There is also the issue of having to develop an entirely new system of utility for a token in order for it to be useful. Without this, there will likely be no interest in buying the token whatsoever. Trying to cram utility into an NFT by issuing a token that then needs to have utility itself does not seem like a sound investment of resources.
