Selection of an Auditor to audit the Keyper Staking and Delegated Staking Mechanism

This proposal seeks to select an independent auditor to conduct a thorough audit of the Keyper Staking and Delegated Staking Mechanism developed by Blockful.io. This is crucial to ensure the secure functioning of the staking mechanism and to provide confidence to the Shutter DAO 0x36 community. Additionally, this proposal seeks to approve the requested budget for the audit by the contributor.

Background

Following the selection and commencement of the Keyper Staking and Delegated Staking Mechanism development by Blockful.io, it is imperative to ensure the implementation is secure and reliable. An RFP was issued for auditing the implementation, with qualified auditors invited to submit their proposals. The aim is to select a reputable auditor who can provide a comprehensive assessment and report on the staking mechanism.

Proposals submitted by contributors are as follows (listed in chronological order):

• Proposal by cducrest
• Proposal by Three Sigma (Simão Amaro)

Execution

Vote on Snapshot

Shutter DAO 0x36 members will vote to select the preferred auditor and approve the requested budget via a Snapshot vote.

• Only one auditor will be selected to fulfill the RFP.
• The selection will be done by the Shutter DAO 0x36 members via a Snapshot vote.
• The selected auditor must adhere to the agreed-upon timelines and milestones for the audit.

Disbursement

The selected auditor will receive the agreed-upon amount from the Shutter DAO treasury. The disbursement will follow the timeline, vesting schedules, and milestones specified in the original RFP resp. contributor's proposal. Separate Fractal votes are required for the disbursement.

Contribution

The execution of the audit will start as soon as possible unless otherwise defined by the auditor's proposal.

Members of Shutter DAO 0x36 are invited to vote on this proposal using the following options via single choice voting:

• Select cducrest and approve the required budget
• Select Three Sigma (Simão Amaro) and approve the required budget
• Select none of the contributors
• Abstain
