Description

nASTR, developed by Algem is a liquid staking token that users get for staking ASTR on Algem in order to continue to remain liquid and efficiently use their funds. ASTR is the native coin of Astar Network used for payment of transaction fees, dapp staking, and participating in the majority of the ecosystem activities.

Proposal

Similar to the stablecoin and like asset pools, Sirius finance should launch a nASTR/ASTR stable swap pool. This pool will help expand the liquidity in the ecosystem, increase the TVL, and to enable liquidity providers to have the ease of earning on Sirius finance without the high risk of impermanent loss as compared to other protocols. Sirius finance's like-asset pools will be a perfect fit for foundational Astar network DeFi assets like ASTR and liquid tokens such as nASTR. Looking at the amount of ASTR locked in liquid staking pools, this provides an opportunity for stakers to earn extra through liquid staking tokens on Sirius finance at very low risk.
