Accept the deployment of Rhino.Fi ZK Power User ZK badge on the Sismo Curated protocol (https://app.sismo.io/).

Abstract

An instance of the Rhino.Fi ZK Power User ZK badge is actually deployed on the Sismo Playground protocol. The purpose of this SIP is to deploy this badge on the Sismo Curated protocol. The Sismo Community is expected to accept this deployment if it is compliant with the Badge Curation Guidelines.

Motivation

About Rhino.Fi

Rhino.Fi, formerly DeversiFi, is a multi-chain, self-custodial DeFi platform hosted on layer 2 (based on the Starkware StarkEx ZK rollup technology), on top of the Ethereum blockchain.

It provides all the best opportunities in the DeFi realm: swaps, yield, staking, and trading. As a layer 2 platform, semi-independent from the main Ethereum blockchain, they settle transactions themselves before posting the records back on layer 1. Each transaction is validated using zero-knowledge proofing, which maximizes user privacy.

About the Rhino.Fi ZK Power User ZK badge

All user activity on Rhino.Fi is private - they use a StarkEx Validium implementation to keep data off-chain via a Data Availability Committee . As activity is not published on-chain, users of Rhino.fi benefit from casual privacy but have no easy way to show the world how they are both early adopters of ZK rollups and rhino.fi power users.

The deployment of this new ZK Badge will allow early Rhino.fi users to show proof-of-OG-rollup status to the world, without having to DOX their wallet. All regular Rhino.Fi users will be eligible to mint the badge (users should have used Rhino.Fi app for at least 3 weeks since May 2021 with a minimum trading volume of $100 USD during those weeks) and the eligible group will be updated monthly.

Reminder from the Badge curation guidelines: Sismo should welcome many Badges with different tradeoffs. What matters is that the trade-offs are clearly stated and that the actual badge follows the specifications.

The anonymity set will be >4500 accounts at the time of deployment and growing over time.

Note: Be careful not to mint this ZK Badge on an address directly linked to the address used to deposit, trade, or stake on Rhino.Fi as it could reveal the link between your accounts to an observant onlooker.

Trustlessness

Low

The Rhino.Fi team is in charge of generating the eligible group and updating it monthly. They will generate the group according to the criteria shared (users should have used Rhino.Fi app for at least 3 weeks since May 2021 with a minimum trading volume of $100 USD during those weeks) but have the power to add or remove any accounts they deem eligible or not.

Sybil Resistance Level

Medium This badge can be minted multiple times by a single actor but it requires sufficient financial resources and time dedication (swapping hundreds of dollars several times over periods of 3 weeks).

This assessment is purely informational and is to be used by builders who want to build on top of this current group or badge to assess the Sybil resistance of the overarching badge.
