I'm seeking to continue the Gnarly News newsletter that I was originally funded through Prop 41.

Newsletter

The newsletter is a powerful tool for aggregating news and updates from the Gnars community. In the rapidly evolving ecosystem of the nouniverse, information streams are abundant, making it challenging to catch all the latest updates. Gnarly News simplifies this for Gnars DAO, providing a reliable source for comprehensive coverage of the latest news, events, and developments. More than just reporting on DAO activities, it highlights key community achievements and initiatives. The newsletter plays a crucial role in filtering and curating content, ensuring that our community stays informed with relevant updates. As Gnarly News gains traction, it not only serves as an archive of our activities but also attracts new collaborators who may be inspired by what we are up to.

Reach and Impact

The newsletter currently has 450 subscribers and has accumulated nearly 10,000 page views since its inception. It also serves as the foundation for discussing news on the Gnars Jam Sessions, and a key instrument in highlighting what our members are up to.

Content Amplification

In addition to publishing the newsletter, we'll begin repurposing the content contained within the newsletter to be published as individual tweets/posts in the days following the publication of the newsletter. Each section will be turned into a unique post. Certain posts will be repeated every week or so, including reminders of meetings, Jam Sessions, etc. Others will be unique based on the news and events happening that week. This is to help bring attention to activities within the DAO and spread our reach even further, while also increasing activity on our socials.

This work will fall under the scope of the Community Pod, so there is no budget included for this work in this proposal. Instead, I will demonstrate how to break down the newsletter into tweets for the first week and then give others within the Community Pod the opportunity to pick up this work as well.
