Overview: For NFT NYC 2023, the CryptoSkulls DAO CM team have planned a NFT NYC meetup. For the NFT NYC Conference taking place April 12-14th, Community Managers XOAO and Irishnftgal will act as representatives for CryptoSkulls and the DAO. XOAO has been invited by NFT NYC as a speaker talking about Cryptoskulls at NFT NYC 2023, and Irishnftgal is exhibiting her artwork at NFTNYC. This will help increase brand awareness, brand exposure and storytelling of Cryptoskulls and the DAO. The CMs will also help facilitate and help organise an IRL side event meetup with local community members and partners. The event will be open for all CryptoSkulls holders (& +1) to network and meet other like-minded historical nft projects, to increase brand awareness and engagement amongst community members and new skull members.

Funding Transparency:

The total amount of funding asked is 3600 USDC / (2eth value) and will cover venue booking and entry, event expenses such as drinks, and travel expenses for CMs. 1-2 Skulls may be requested from the Crypt, to be used for marketing and promotions in collaboration with DegenArcade, as part of a larger historical project donation that will bring the historical community together. In order to help CMs with the cost of travel expenses will be covered by the DAO as a one-off contribution. Both CMs will receive a stipend for travel expenses only. They will not be receiving any additional compensation for NFT NYC expenses which will be self-subsidized. The funds will be sent as ETH from the crypt (multi-sig wallet) and exchanged in USDC by CMs if necessary, and sent to CM’s address for travel reimbursement. Any remaining funds will be sent back to Crypt. Current eth funds in the crypt wallet holds 2.345ETH / (4186 in USD value).

Proposal Details:

IRL Event Planning - immediate plans have been made for a NFT NYC CryptoSkulls side event which would involve partnering with other communities in New York such as NFT NYC, DegenArcade, the Crypt Gallery, ITMV.io, W3FC, KnownOrigin, SuperRare and other Historical NFT projects such as Punycodes DAO & V1Punks. The marketing strategy is closely tied to these events and content will be created pre/post each event so all organizing and marketing efforts are maximized and cross promotional opportunities are made. Final Details of the side event is subject to change as there are other backup options for venue and events FYI.

Side Event at the Crypt Gallery ​​Utilizing the hospitality industry to reach a global and mainstream audience, we have opened 24/7 exhibition spaces to educate and provide exposure for the NFT community. In collaboration with Dream Hotel Group, our galleries are located in the trendiest areas of LA + NYC, with high end clientele, large scale visibility and an after dark ambiance. 50+ top tier NFT artists exhibited and in attendance VIP Comedy Show and Poker Tournament to begin the evening Live Auctions for physical artwork Live Minting of NFTs accessible only for guests in person from multiple headlining artists Live Streaming of event posted on YouTube for maximized visibility to online and global audience DJ and Live performances scheduled throughout event night NFT Culture will be covering event as our media partner, providing podcast interviews and other marketing support before, during and after the event NFT NYC official conference will be endorsing our event and providing marketing support, in addition to driving their guests and VIP clientele to our venue.

Team Experience:

CryptoSkulls Community Managers actively engaging in CS community: XOAO is a community manager for CryptoSkulls DAO. He is a representative for the DAO, and is a speaker for NFTUK and NFT LONDON by NFT NYC. Has a background as a digital consultant, creative director with agency experience. Since 2016, he has been working in web 3, consulting for blockchain startups, for the past 3 years where has invested into building communities and products for the future.

Niamh / Irishnftgal is a traditional artist & NFT Marketer from Dublin. She has been selected as a speaker for NFT LONDON. She studied Creative Digital Media at Technological University Dublin & regularly hosts Twitter spaces focused on historical NFTs and phygitals.
