Reasons for adding

Resume: I’ve been in Decentraland since shortly after the public launch in 2020. I’ve been always interested in experimenting new ways to interact with the virtual world, making and contributing to multiplayer games like Pirate Shower , Wonder Pirate Fever and, of course, Golfcraft.

Vision for Decentraland: I would like to see Decentraland becoming part of the free internet, liberating people from big corporations. I’ll push for the integration of Decentraland with other decentralized technologies, like the Fediverse, and for the platform to become more federated (DCL Worlds is a great step on that direction).

I would love to see the Community clients (Godot and Veby) become a reference point for new features. And lastly I expect Decentraland to become less reliant on blockchain technology, making it optional not only for the user but also for the backend. Allowing for the existence of de-blockchained Decentraland worlds.

Evidence of your understanding of Decentraland’s ecosystem and commitment to its growth:

After being part of the development of the game Golfcraft for several years, a complex system that integrates multiplayer and web3, I became familiarized with the inner workings of the platform and the SDK, as well the community as a whole.

The over reliance on the blockchain technology, and the fragmentation of the community drove me away for some time. The last couple of years I’ve only attended a few big events in Decentralad. And I welcome this opportunity to reconnect and contribute with the project.
