Can a necklace category be created in the marketplace?

As a jewelry brand trying to create necklace wearables I believe that a unique necklace category should be created. Currently we have to put necklaces under the Earrings category which doesn't make much sense since necklaces are innately more popular items than earrings and should have their own category. Also we are currently forced to include earrings in our necklace wearables and promote them as "earrings" for them to even be approved.
