Should the marketplace be expanded to include rental agreements?

The Catalyst Nodes Monitor (https://catalyst-monitor.vercel.app/) shows Decentraland currently has around 1,000-1,800 active members at any given time. The low amount of active users may be a result of a large percentage of Decentraland being undeveloped or underdeveloped. The majority of Decentraland being underdeveloped may be a result of land owners not having the skills or resources needed to develop the amazing experiences we all know Decentraland is capable of rendering.

To address the underdeveloped land and lack of high-quality user engagement zones, should the marketplace be expanded to match two new sets of market participants?

• Match land owners with renters
• Match people who need DCL developers with people who specialize in DCL development (modeling, blockchain programming, game developers, etc...)

I think this is an easy extension to the Decentraland marketplace that would significantly increase the amount of development in DCL, which would increase the number of active members. What do you think?

The Decentraland Discord server currently serves to match these sets of market participants through open discussion, but a lot of the third-party brokers that offer such services are poorly done, inactive, largely centralized, or expensive. Decentraland has an opportunity to offer a built-in solution to reduce fees, improve user engagement, and grow the community.
