Spark's Operational Facilitator has placed a proposal into the voting system on behalf of nested contributor Phoenix Labs.
The Spark community can hereby express support or opposition to the following changes, as described by the author of the proposal:
Phoenix Labs, in its role as a nested contributor, proposes a grant of 1.1M USDS per month from the SubDAO Proxy to the Spark Foundation for a period of three (3) months to cover Q2-2026 Spark Foundation expenses.
Additionally, Phoenix Labs proposes a one time grant of 100,000 USDS per month for a period of three (3) months to cover Q2-2026 Spark Assets Foundation expenses.
Purpose
The purpose of this grant is to enable the Spark Foundation to fulfill its mandate of promoting the growth and development of Spark, and for Spark Asset Foundation to fulfill its mandate of safeguarding assets deployed via the Spark Liquidity Layer. Grant funds will support essential activities, including but not limited to:
- Engineering and product development
- Community engagement and growth initiatives
- Research and governance contributions
- Infrastructure and operational maintenance
- Administrative operations
Transfers
Transfers will be executed via Spark Spells included in Sky Executive Votes, unless otherwise mutually agreed by Sky and Spark. We propose for the first transfers (covering April 2026) to be executed as part of the March 26, 2026 spell.
