Spartan Council Election 23/09/21

Purpose

This snapshot proposal carries out the election to nominate 8 members to serve a 3-month epoch under the Spartan Council. This role is a paid a monthly stipend by the Treasury Council.

Information

The Spartan Council is a governing body of the Synthetix Protocol, responsible for the representing the Synthetix Community via delegation. They analyse, debate and vote on SIPs/SCCPs, effectively making decisions that modify the Synthetix Protocol.

Voting Process

SNX Stakers who have participated in the debt pool during the snapshot taken the week before the start of this election are assigned their percentage debt ownership as voting weight. This voting weight is then quadratically weighted, as outlined in SIP-90

Each wallet with a voting weight can only vote for one nominee.
