SPP-1 | Introduce Nexus, an Influencer Referral Program

Summary: This proposal introduces Nexus, a new incentive initiative, incorporating an Influencer Referral Program to bolster content creation and marketing efforts.

Context: Content creation is essential for effective communication and brand marketing. To further this, we propose integrating an Influencer Referral Program called Nexus.

Rationale: Despite the growth of the Spiral core team, there is a need for more robust content creation and marketing. Nexus will act as the main way to attract more lockers by including an Influencer Referral Program to incentivize users to lock MAV into de Spiral Liquid Lockers thanks to Influencers content creation.

Influencer Referral Program:

• Influencers create a unique referral link.
• When someone follows referall link and locks Maverick tokens into the Spiral Liquid Locker, the influencer earns rewards based on the amount locked.

Structure & Budget for Influencer Referral Program:

• Rewards based on locked Maverick tokens, 3,5% reward in sprMAV per epoch (2 weeks). Example: 35 sprMAV rewards for 1,000 locked tokens.
• The program can be evaluated and adjusted during the campaign.
• The campaign will last until Maverick Snapshot announcement (cf LINK).

Means

• Engineering resources:
  • Create a referral link system inside Spiral MAV Liquid Lockers
• Treasury resources:
  • There is no direct cost from the DAO Multisig.
  • Minted sprMAV from the DAO Multisig will be used as payement
