Multi-sig Members

Welcome to the inaugural SpiritSwap “Community driven Snapshot”. It's been a long time coming but we are very excited to take the first step with you (our beloved community) as we transition towards a DAO!

This first snapshot is for the community to approve our proposed multi-sigs who will be responsible for signing off any further DAO led decisions, up until we implement full on-chain governance at which point, the reliance on multi-sig approval will become redundant and full decentralization will be achieved.

Our proposed multi-sigs, who will be charged with custody over the DAO’s inner workings are as follows.

Proposed Multi-sig members: Austin - Community Personality, Founder, FTM Alerts Cobra - Community Personality, Fund Manager Dr.Liquid - Founder, LiquidDriver FTM D3gEn - Operations Manager, SpiritSwap Heesh - Lead DeFi Architect, SpiritSwap Nzaru - Community Manager, SpiritSwap Michael Kong - CEO, Fantom Foundation

This means a total of 7 members will sit on the multi-sig board, with 4 of the 7 members being required to sign off before any motion can be implemented.

We limited the multi sig to include only 1 original core team member (Heesh) from the founding team of 5. This is to ensure that the multi-sig is well balanced and that members external to any involvement in SpiritSwap make up the majority.

We chose to include two other members of the SpiritSwap team (Nzaru and FTM D3gEn) as their understanding of internal operations and current organizational structure will be beneficial to helping other multi-sigs have a good understanding of how things are currently structured and how things are run behind the scenes.

The remaining multi-sigs (majority) are external to any direct involvement in SpiritSwap and considered trusted, well known and esteemed members of the Fantom community.
