Add Orkan-FTM to SpiritSwap's boosted farms

Voting ended almost 4 years agoSucceeded

Title: Proposal to add Orkan-FTM to SpiritSwap's boosted farms

Description: The Orkan protocol is a meta-governance protocol on Fantom. Our aim is to solidify the liquidity landscape of SpiritSwap by creating deep liquidity positions and grow the number of Bitcoin pairs available for trading within the exchange. We strive to operate symbiotically with SpiritSwap by perpetually locking as much $spirit as possible to govern and operate within SpiritSwap's ecosystem. Our voting power will be used to bring hard assets to the exchange and create desirable pairings which attract trading volume. Adding Orkan-FTM LP to Spirit's boosted farms is the first step in order to allow the ORKAN to generate additional products that incentivize Spirit Liquidity positions.

The Orkan is operated by Strudel DAO and has a growing number of collaborators including Liquid Driver and Information Token DAO.

Benefits:

  • SpiritSwap will have a partner protocol that consistently buys, locks, and governs $SPIRIT
  • ORKAN-FTM LP will deepen its liquidity pool, benefiting both SpiritSwap's boosted farm users as well as Orkan users
  • Increased liquidity on SpiritSwap's DEX

Risks: We dont forsee any risks associated with this proposal as both protocols mutually benefit. We are open to hearing and discussing any potential risks within this forum.

Conclusion:

  • Mutually beneficial protocols on an operation level
  • Creates deeper LPs both for SpiritSwap and Orkan
  • Intent increases ownership and locking of $SPIRIT
  • Provides further value for SpiritSwap and Orkan
  • Increases liquidity volume on SpiritSwap's DEX
