Follow up on Irisbul’s proposal

Hi fellow Squarfams!

I am so excited about the last announcement and the opportunity to create proposals. Shout out to our Squarmie Whale for beginning the discussion.

With that in mind, here are my thoughts:

Irishbul, you acknowledge that the Instagram audience is not well informed about the NFT technology, yet you argue that actually buying one is easy and that should be thought to the audience in order to invite them into adopting Squarmies. I have to disagree - both crypto and NFTs are complex topics that require a lot of time to be properly understood. Engaging with crypto and NFTs happens only after one is informed well enough, especially if users are completely new to these technologies.

With this argument, I want to expand on your idea of creating a form of instructions on the website that takes the user step by step through the process of adopting one of the Squarmies:

The Idea: Similar to the road map infographic, we could build an infographic that contains all necessary steps of acquiring a Squarmies NFT. The same can be done in the future for the Pets collection. This infographic can be the first step towards reaching the goal proposed by Irisbul (1 million followers).

If the first step is informing the audience about how crypto technologies work, how are NFTs acquired, then another problem arises - why would the followers want to buy Squarmies, even if they know everything about NFTs.

The answers is already mentioned in the end of Irishbul's proposal - teaching the audience about the ways of the Squarfams. What it is like to own a Squarmie, how to use it as Avatar on different social media, what is shilling, how are these NFTs useful within the Squarfam community, how does are voting system work, what kind of project are we, what is the expected from the roadmap, how to be useful for the brand and community etc. As the Square Comics devs stated today in the announcement channel in Discord, they want us to become a DAO - Decentralised Autonomous Organisation. In simpler words, it is us the owners that are responsible for the growth of the brand, the NFT project, etc. Let’s discuss as much as possible, start some initiatives on bringing these and all the following ideas to reality and begin our path towards Squarmies DAO.
