SDGP-007: Engaging DAO Service Provider
As per SDIP-40, this is a Governance Proposal and has a Quorum to Pass of 250 SquiggleDAO NFTs and a Minimum Participation of 10 voters.
Introduction
Throughout the past few years, the team has consistently performed amongst the top DAOs in the space, showcasing exceptional execution, risk management and efficiency. Our performance has positioned us as leaders in the space, solidifying SquiggleDAO’s reputation for delivering unparalleled results and driving the forefront of innovation. Additionally, the relationship with Snowfro has never been stronger as he is supportive of the Service Providers.
This SDGP authorises the monthly payment of $42k USDC and 0.2083% SQUIG of the FDV (equivalent to 2.5% annually) to the service provider, Day One Labs. This new fee represents a reduction of 8% in cash and 1% in total token compensation compared to the previous arrangement.
The DAO will engage the service provider, Day One Labs, with effect starting November 1st, 2024, and will continue unless the DAO votes to stop or change the contract at any point. Any legal dispute or costs against the Service Providers are to be covered entirely by the DAO. This agreement supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, oral, written and implied.
