SDGP-009: Re-Engaging DAO Service Provider
As per SDIP-40, this is a Governance Proposal and has a Quorum to Pass of 250 SquiggleDAO NFTs and a Minimum Participation of 10 voters.
Introduction
Throughout the past few years, the team has consistently performed as one of the top collector DAOs in the space, showcasing exceptional execution, risk management and efficiency. The team's performance has positioned the DAO as leaders in the space, solidifying SquiggleDAO’s reputation for delivering unparalleled results and driving the forefront of innovation. Additionally, the relationship with Snowfro has never been stronger as he is supportive of the Service Providers. The DAO has achieved many things such as placing 4 Squiggles in Museums worldwide and joining the Acquisition Committee of the Tate Modern, something no other collector DAO has ever done as well as many other initiatives shown in the deck below.
This SDGP authorises the monthly payment of $58k USDC and 0.42% SQUIG of the FDV (equivalent to 5% annually) to the service provider, Day One Labs. The DAO will engage the service provider, Day One Labs, with effect starting October 1st, 2025, and will continue unless the DAO votes to stop or change the contract at any point. Any legal dispute or costs against the Service Providers are to be covered entirely by the DAO. This agreement supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, oral, written and implied.
