RERUN: Change the Stack Toads game rewards structure

Voting ended about 4 years agoSucceeded

Proposal Name: Change the Stack Toads game rewards structure

Who Submitted Proposal: @Dr.Degen Phd,CFA,BBC

Proposal Type: DAO Proposal

Proposal Summary: A play-to-earn game will draw a lot of attention to our NFT and can create a reliable source of income if done right. I suggest we change from our games current reward structure and distribute stack to players based on the score that they get. I also suggest offering high valued NFT's, such as the BAYC, at scores higher than ever been achieved to attract people to our game. Outsiders will come for the BAYC and stay for the profits they realize when they get high scores, all while having fun. Proposal Specification: The fixed reward structure that I propose can only be sustainable through statistics. Every play and the score that was realized from each play must be used to calculate the probability of receiving a certain score. Once the score of the specific probability that we desire is found, the rewards can be set at the score. In a mock rewards scenario, a score between the top 45%-50% would be rewarded a 0.5 multiple on cost, 51%-55% rewards 0.75 multiple on cost, 56%-60% rewards 1 multiple on cost, 61%-65% rewards 1.25 multiple on cost (now starting to profit), 66%-70% rewards 1.5 multiple on cost, etc. Using this rewards pattern until 100% would yield us a 23% return (not including a loss on rewards that is greater than the 100% top score, which is quite unlikely). I would suggest offering a BAYC as a reward at a score that has an extremely low probability of getting (a multiple of the highest score ever gotten). I have provided a screenshot of an excel file on Dao-ideas of the mock reward system I just mentioned and the profit it can create. Those numbers can be played around with to create different rewards at different levels, resulting in different profits. The probability of having a certain score can be found using normal distribution functions on excel. This method should only be used when the trend of the scores is NOT growing. As the game is new and players are getting better, we should wait until the scores have a sideways pattern. I would suggest that the player should be able to withdraw their rewards at the time that they please to help reduce gas fees. This reward system is reliant on the basis that we have the data of each and every score.

Proposal Benefits: -Source of income if done correctly -No more of a need to buy NFT's to offer as a reward to get people playing with the hopes of making a profit -Great marketing opportunity -Greater chance of players receiving a reward than the current structure -A player getting a ridiculously high score will not discourage other players from playing anymore

Proposal Drawbacks: -Players suddenly start getting good and receive too much rewards. DAO will lose money on this. -Someone gets extremely lucky and wins our prized NFT -Players think its too difficult to get a score high enough to profit -Mistake in calculations and/or data -Time to build and implement
