As discussed within the community for over a year, DeCloud Labs is ending support for StackOS and focusing entirely on its new direction: supporting AI agents through StackAI.
During the migration period, all StackOS token holders were given the opportunity to convert to the new STKAI token and support DeCloud Labs’ new mission. However, due to persistent security issues with cross-chain bridges — especially following the PolyNetwork hack which forced us to scale down operations — we now intend to close this vulnerability permanently.
Finalizing the token supply on a single chain (Solana) also resolves the ongoing perception challenge around token mintability. Although the supply is fixed, multi-chain visibility has created confusion.
To date, we’ve offered: 5 months of migration via the bridge 8 months of notice about the STKAI token migration to Solana Proposal This proposal concerns the permanent closure of bridge-based migrations from Arbitrum to STKAI on Solana.
Any holders who: Opened a support ticket prior to May 30th 2025 Or hold unconverted STACKAI (Wormhole) tokens …will be airdropped STKAI on Solana.
All unclaimed tokens after this date will be considered burned and permanently removed from potential circulation.
*Special note: Any tokens gained from previous exploits will not be honored, and in some cases, they will be refunded to their rightful owners.
Purpose To officially halt all future token claims and bridge-based migrations related to the StackAI token. This is the final step to close the migration process and eliminate any potential exploits that could be caused by the bridge infrastructure.
All token holders must now choose to either remain with StackOS or transition fully to StackAI.
DeCloud Labs will continue to develop StackAI going forward. However, if any community members wish to continue developing StackOS in its original form, we’re open to offering guidance and support — please reach out.
Action Proposed If passed, calculations will be run, and we will burn all the unclaimed tokens. StackOS and StackAI (and also their tokens) will then live independently.
Benefits Locks in the final circulating supply of STKAI Improves clarity for new and existing investors regarding tokenomics Eliminates ongoing security risk related to bridge infrastructure
Tokenomics Impact No new tokens will be minted or redistributed Total and circulating supply figures will be updated to reflect final claimed amounts Remaining unclaimed tokens will be considered burned
Context StackOS Token holders have had significant time to choose to support StackAI, or expect that StackOS would be picked up by another contributing party. It’s reasonable to conclude that all engaged community members have already completed the process.
Since token holders are currently split across 3 locations (STKAI on Solana, STACKAI — Wormhole and STACKAI/StackOS on Arbitrum) this proposal will have 3 instances. This is to allow every opportunity for people to vote. The final total across all 3 instances will be captured and communicated by the team, but also visible for everybody to verify.
