Season 2 Leaderboard Point Distribution Design

Objective: To finalize the point distribution weighting for the Season 2 Main Leaderboard, enhancing gameplay balance and community engagement by revisiting the proportions of points earned from game performance, duties, and social activities. This system will not impact other incentivization mechanisms, including Skill-based Leaderboard, Airdrone Wars Campaign etc.

Background: The Season 1 leaderboard design served as a successful foundation for tracking player achievements. However, based on community feedback and data analysis, we aim to comprehensively redesign the leaderboard system and adjust the weightings to better align with player behavior and engagement objectives. The decision for Season 2's point distribution structure will impact the player strategy and the incentive system throughout the season.

Proposed Leaderboard Designs: There are two potential options for the Season 2 leaderboard design, each with different weightings of points across game, duty, and social categories:

Option 1 (Yes):

• Game (Space Shooter): 47.5%
• Hero Duty: 35%
• Social: 17.5%

Option 2 (No):

• Game (Space Shooter): 40%
• Hero Duty: 40%
• Social: 20%

Vote Options:

• Yes – Approves Option 1, a 47.5/35/17.5 weighting for game, hero duty, and social, respectively.
• No – Keeps the default design - Option 2, a 40/40/20 weighting for game, hero duty, and social, respectively.
