Should we reveal ART before metadata?

The reveal date for The Stoics is set for Tuesday, September 20 at 10:00am EST. At that time, we have two options:

1. Update to reveal the art and all metadata (which will determine rarity)
2. Update to reveal only the art, then reveal the metadata after a 24-hour period.

Why (and to whom) would it be advantageous to do a staged reveal?

As soon as metadata is published, this allows bots to “snipe” the NFTs which are statistically rarest very quickly. This results in some quick sales volume immediately—which can be helpful to jumpstart upward price action—but doesn’t necessarily reward collectors who are most interested and invested in the art Gabe has created. By first revealing only the art, those most devoted collectors have a little time to look through the collection and identify items they like that are for sale without competing with bots for those pieces.
