This proposal suggests moving the governance discussion stage for AWE proposals back to Discord, while keeping the rest of the governance process unchanged.
Snapshot voting, proposal requirements, voting timelines, quorum, execution processes, and all other governance rules remain the same. The only change is where early-stage proposal discussion happens.
AWE governance currently uses Discourse for proposal discussion, but this has added friction to the process.
Most of the community already spends time in Discord, and moving discussion back there would make governance easier to follow, easier to participate in, and faster to coordinate around.
The goal is not to change governance itself. The goal is to streamline the discussion flow so more contributors can engage before proposals move to Snapshot.
If approved, governance discussions will move from Discourse back to Discord.

A dedicated governance discussion channel can be used to keep proposal conversations organized. Proposal authors should clearly label their posts with the proposal title, summary, and discussion timeline.
