TKN Buybacks Proposal

Summary

TKN price has recently been down only despite marketing efforts associated with the ETH conference in Thailand and a significant pump in the price of AERO.

Given the following:

• TKN is DAO with a treasury
• The treasury is primarily denominated in AERO
• TKN has drastically underperformed the price of AERO
• The value of the treasury is >2x the value of circulating AERO

We would like to hear feedback from the community regarding a modest buyback program to bring TKN’s price more in line with their proportional ownership of treasury assets.

Proposal

We propose for the Treasury to implement a buyback program whereby the treasury swaps $80,000 per week of AERO into TKN until TKN trades within 10% of the treasury’s Net Asset Value per TKN.

Implementation Details

Within one week of the conclusion of this snapshot vote, the treasury should begin to swap no less than $80,000 worth of AERO per week into TKN, until TKN trades within 10% of the treasury’s Net Asset Value per TKN.

Buys should be conducted at semi-random intervals using a liquidity aggregator such as 1inch or Odos.
