Suzaku Season 1 Unclaimed Airdrop Tokens Reallocation

Context

The claim window for the Suzaku Season 1 airdrop has ended on November 13th.

A total of 1,595,430 SUZ (349,397 as SUZ and 1,246,033 as sSUZ) has been clawed back and returned into an ecosystem wallet.

Multiple options are available for how to reallocate these tokens, and it is a great time to involve the Suzaku community.

SUZ holders will be able to express their preference via a vote on Snapshot. This proposal marks the effective birth of the Suzaku DAO.

Available options and vote

Given the number of options available, we will hold a weighted vote in which each voter can allocate a percentage of their voting power to each option.

The team and community members have suggested the following options as the answer to how unclaimed tokens should be reallocated:

1. To the Season 2 airdrop
2. To SUZ staking rewards over the next 12 months
3. To an airdrop exclusive to the Season 1 airdrop recipients (who have staked their allocation or provided liquidity)
4. Back to the ecosystem allocation for later incentives
5. To the void = burned

Voting power

The voting power of SUZ holders is determined as follows:

• 1 vote per sSUZ
• 1 vote per vested SUZ token
• 1 vote per SUZ provided as liquidity in the SUZ/AVAX Blackhole pool (LP tokens have to be staked)
• 1 vote per SUZ provided as liquidity in the SUZ/USDC Blackhole pool (LP tokens have to be staked)

Note: The protocol wallets (ecosystem, treasury, liquidity) won't participate in the vote.
