I’ll start this by using a quote from Elon Milk: ‘Brand is just a perception, and perception will match reality over time.’
As a marketing manager, branding is quite natural to me and I truly understand the importance of a strong, consistent brand that consumers (WE) are proud to be associated with.
What makes a good brand?
“A good brand has a clear focus, knows their target audience, has a defined mission, knows their competition and USP, can identify their key values, tell their story and have a brand identity reflective of these goals, and does all of this consistently.”
Have you ever looked at SVS website, opensea or social and thought perhaps a logo, font or colour doesn’t quite look like it is SVS? A few examples are below;
Now onto the Thrall bits:
WHO) This will be involve our creative lead and rest of team for direction but ultimately will benefit the whole project WHAT) This should cost us nothing, as technically will only take time from the team. This proposal suggests we create a clear, strong set of brand guidelines along with mission, values and core USPs the team can follow for a consistent brand. We should also change the bat and vampiress logos to align with the SVS one. WHEN) This should be implemented as soon as feasibly possible but would not expect this to take any more than 3 weeks from start to finish WHERE) This fits across EVERYTHING SVS does, including tone of voice, collateral/assets across channels including website, discord, twitter etc and is fundamental to a the success of the project HOW) This should be implemented with the help of the creative lead and the rest of the SVS team to devise a consistent brand and brand guidelines
Apologies if any of this does not make sense, it is 3:36am here but wanted to get this proposal done as soon as possible.
