Should Symbiosis Launch a Reward Program for zkSynk Era Liquidity Providers?

Context

zkSync Era, an L2 protocol for Ethereum, has gained high market traction in the short time since its deployment.

Symbiosis launched the integration of zkSync Era this week with great success. At this point, a significant number of all cross-chain operations performed through Symbiosis are transactions to or from zkSync.

To scale its success, Symbiosis needs to attract more liquidity for zkSync Era to efficiently execute cross-chain operations in this direction.

Proposal

To attract liquidity providers, implement a reward program for providing liquidity for the zkSync direction with a base APR for those who provide liquidity only and a boosted APR for those who provide liquidity and hold veSIS.

Key points

• More liquidity will enable Symbiosis to process cross-chain swaps with less slippage and handle more significant amounts. That will increase the volume of cross-chain operations conducted via the Symbiosis protocol.
• High rewards for the zkSync direction will attract liquidity providers for that direction.
