Context

Metis is a Layer 2 rollup platform built on Ethereum, designed to address some of the most pressing challenges of the Ethereum network, such as scalability, transaction speed, and high gas costs. It stands out due to its low gas fees, rapid transaction processing, native storage capabilities, and robust security features.

Proposal

Integrate Metis L2 into the Symbiosis protocol. This integration aims to leverage the advantages of Metis L2 to enhance the overall efficiency and user experience within the Symbiosis ecosystem. The integration includes the following:

• The stablecoin on Metis L2 to operate will be USDC.
• Incorporate support for the new blockchain within the Symbiosis protocol. This entails adding the new stablecoin and WETH token to the Symbiosis AMM DEX on the host chain. Concurrently, the Symbiosis relayer network should begin interfacing with the newly integrated blockchain.
• Deploy and tune Symbiosis contracts on Metis L2.
• Implement routing via existing DEXes on Metis L2.
