Context

Base is a secure, low-cost, developer-friendly L2 built on the MIT-licensed OP Stack, in collaboration with Optimism. Secured by Ethereum and empowered by Coinbase, Base ensures full EVM equivalence at a fraction of the cost, paving the way for developers to onboard many new users to Web3.

The Base Mainnet will become available to users in August.

Proposal

• Add support for Base to the Symbiosis protocol. The integration involves the following steps:
• The stablecoin on Base to operate will be USDC.
• Add support for the new blockchain to the Symbiosis protocol: the new stablecoin/WETH should be added to the Symbiosis AMM DEX on the host chain, and the Symbiosis relayer network should start working with the newly added blockchain.
• Deploy and tune Symbiosis contracts on Base.
• Add routing over existing DEXes on Base.
