Symmetric Telos Improvement Proposal #4 Tekika Rewards Distribution

Purpose: To make a community decision on distribution of Tekika rewards for season 1

Symmetric and Tekika Season 1

Tekika is a quest based airdrop platform built for the Telos ecosystem that aims to bring users to Telos and have them interact with the Telos ecosystem. Symmetric is a tier one sponsor for season 1, which costs the treasury $5,000 for sponsorship. On November 19th, Symmetric will distribute the $5k worth of tokens from the treasury to be claimed by Tekika participants. We have multiple options for distribution, but have landed on two lp token distribution options that affect the protocol least while fulfilling our obligation. Distributing LP tokens ensures that any unclaimed tokens continue to provide liquidity to Symmetric, and also encourage users to keep their liquidity on Symmetric post-distribution.

Option 1: Distribute $5k in sTLOS-wTLOS LP token Option 2: Distribute $5k in USDC-USDC LP token

Conclusion:

Each option presents a less disruptive option than having a relatively large amount of tSYMM distributed on the open market. The choice we make is really up to how the community views the opportunity cost of parting with these tokens.
