Simple Summary

This TIP proposes a plan on how to execute the allocation of 10,000 OP tokens (out of total 40,000 OP tokens allocated to Exotic markets incentives) that are to be available to Exotic market users that use and drive volume on Exotic markets.

Abstract

This TIP proposes to distribute 10,000 OP tokens pro-rata towards Buy Volume drivers with a minimum of $50 total Buy Volume on Exotic Markets for the duration of 30 days.

Motivation

Exotic Markets are the one Thales product currently without $OP incentives. Allocating the funds towards growth of the product by allowing users to participate in Thales product as shown successful with Thales Crypto and Sport AMM. Exotic should then thrive from these incentives as well by rewarding product usage.

Specification

This TIP entails the Thales Treasury DAO to dedicate 10,000 OP tokens from the total Phase 0 OP tokens distribution for Thales, as a 30 day pro-rata awards for Exotic markets Buy Volume drivers with a minimum of $50 total Buy Volume for the duration. The distribution between the positioners based on the buy volume is to be calculated by off-chain scripts, and distributed accordingly at the end of the 30 day period.
