Grants Council

The CoDAO Grants Council will be a multisig of 5 with a threshold of 3, which can be entrusted to manage and emit distributions of CO tokens as operational helpers for successful DAO proposals. This council will be assigned Hats under the Top Hat to manage their roles and ability to interact with a Grants Council Safe, which can be the controlling address for any future distributions, emissions contracts, etc.

The CoDAO bootstrapping community has nominated five initial representatives to hold this role, with the intention that in or about the first year an election process can be established to garner turnover and accountability for the members. A small grant distribution of OP will help to incentivize this group, supplied by the Coordinape Foundation, for the first year.
