Proposal #18 [STAKE] Stake the current claimable Portal

At this moment the DAO should have around [30.000+] Portal coin that is open to claim. Last weekend the staking for Portal coin went live.

When staking the Portal you will receive 10 XP per Portal coin per day. Right now the unclaimed Portal is not doing anything and if we stake we could at least receive XP for this.

The idea is to claim the current Portal and stake 75% of this on the Portal coin website. In the words of the Portal team: "XP will be the key to accessing the hottest new projects through the Portal Launchpad. Your XP balance will determine your reward level; the higher your reward level, the better your access will be."

There is heavy speculation that some form of $SOMO claim will be possible by virtue of having $portal staked and having accrued sufficient XP.

We can connect the CreepzDAO Twitter so our name will be on the Leaderboard.

Finally by keeping 25% of the claimed $portal we have some capital for other activities if the DAO so decides - for example Portal nodes will likely be purchasable with $portal, it may be that XP allows us to take part in a $SOMO claim but that we still need to invest $portal (or ETH) to take part, we could cash in the $portal to speed up our incorporation efforts. We also then have a small additional buffer if any of the above activities were to result in some form of tax claim or liability.

Cons:

• At this moment we don't know exactly what the rewards will be (except access to some pre-sale and NFT's.)

• The Portal will be locked for 7 days.

• We are not sure about the tax implications. If this Proposal is passed, the CreepzDAO token holders jointly share the tax obligations (from any earnings as a result of the Proposal) in proportion to their holding if any competent tax authority claims against Creepz DAO for any tax liabilities before it is incorporated.

• Claiming will cost gas. Also after that the staking will cost gas.

• We will reach our XP cap 60 days after your initial deposit. Once we reach this cap, we will need to stake more $portal to continue earning XP. At this point we would have to decide if we stake more or unstake.

Pros:

• Gas is pretty low the last week. If possible we could wait until a time when gwei is below 30. The very first time the claiming of Portal will costs the most gas, after that it will become cheaper.

• The longer we stake the more XP we will accrue and the higher we will be listed on the Leaderboard, to showcase the CreepzDAO name.

• After 7 days we still have all the Portal available to unstake and can always sell this later if we want.
