Perm 5.1 - Hashes Dev Studio

Hashes Dev Studio Hashes Dev Studio is an extension of the technical team that built the components for Permutation 5. The Hashes Dev Studio will build a collection of tools that showcase several possibilities to extend, conceptualize and experiment upon the Hashes infrastructure.

Purpose The primary purpose of Permutation 5.1 is to fund 3 months of the Hashes Dev Studio. During this time, we will build:

-A new NFT distribution mechanism with a framework to mint derivative NFTs -Architecture and smart contracts for generative attributes based on hashes -A set of mintable NFTs for hash holders

We believe that these components will enable previous Permutation sponsors to continue leveraging the blue chip art collection. We also believe that several components will position the Hashes to participate in the generative on-chain art movement.

Budget We are seeking 25 ETH budget to fund 3 months of development work For team effort & external expenses like marketing, etc. Final budget allocation to be determined in planning & design phase

Team We represent the technical builders for Permutations 3, 4 and 5: -SydneyJason led the effort for Permutation 5. -Dmath built the front ends and APIs for Permutations 3, 4 and 5. -CookedCookee built several smart contracts for Permutation 4. -Sylfir is a new Hashes DAO member and previously worked with SydneyJason at two Techstars-backed startups, running product and managing the front-end technical stack. -Binmaker is the technical architect for Permutation 5 and represents DexLabs, the company which seeded The Hashes DAO.

We will manage the 3 month budget with a planning & design phase followed by project sprints:

Planning and Architectural Design Phase -Create Product Roadmap Milestones and priority list

Project sprints -Use an agile-ish approach to build products -Exist as standalone pieces for attracting more builders to the Hashes DAO via blog posts, videos, tutorials, presentations and threadoooors

Funds released as Milestones are completed

Success Metrics -Build distribution mechanism -Build architecture and generative attributes based on Hashes NFTs -Launch a set of mintable NFTs for Hashes holders
